Originally from the Czech Republic, Petra started her finance career working in an accountancy practice in Blackburn before leaving the practice to get more involved in the detailed running of the accounts in industry and to develop her career further. Petra now has over 14 years’ experience working with small and growing businesses.

Shawshank Redemption.
Favourite hobby?
Sport! I try to keep fit by running, walking and swimming. I also love watching sport especially tennis, rugby, biathlon, triathlon and many more.
Favourite record?
My top two are probably Lost on You by LP and Pandora’s Box by OMD.
Favourite possession?
I love to renovate old furniture. I enjoy finding unloved good quality pieces and renovating them. My house is full of them and there is often an interesting story behind every item. I’m proud of every single piece and they make me happy.
Tell us something we don’t know about you
I love baking and that’s why myself and my husband need to exercise almost every day.
Favourite app?
WhatsApp. Being in touch with my family and friends every day and sending messages, pictures and voicemails to them. I don’t know how we survived on letters in the last century.

Ice figure skater.
