The challenge

Hospice at Home West Cumbria provides high quality, palliative and end of life care to people living in West Cumbria. 

Established in 1987, they have been nationally and internationally recognised as delivering an excellent model for home based palliative and end of life care.

The charity required a new website to better communicate their story and value proposition and ways of providing essential information, support, and engagement opportunities to their audiences.

Following a strategy workshop key objectives for the new website were put in place.

  • Increase trust, engagement and awareness
  • Communicate the scope of your services and the extent of support you offer, including through stories of people and families you have supported
  • Increase the following key metrics:

    • Website donations
    • Newsletter signups 
    • Social followers 
    • Website visits 
    • Volunteer enquiries 
    • Nurse bookings 
    • Merchandise sales  
    • Job applications
