The Project
The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) is a global leader in research and innovation, with over 120 industrial partners, including Rolls-Royce, Boeing, McLaren, and Airbus. Renowned for helping companies solve complex manufacturing challenges, the AMRC has set the standard for collaborative research between academia and industry.
Hotfoot was appointed by AMRC North West to develop digital and printed marketing materials for RADAR, their SME support programme—designed to raise awareness, drive engagement, and help manufacturers across the region tap into world-class expertise.



Strategy
The RADAR programme is designed to boost competitiveness and productivity for Lancashire’s SME manufacturing community by harnessing the power of cutting-edge technologies.
Working closely with the talented engineers and marketing team at AMRC North West, Hotfoot developed a suite of printed and digital campaign materials—including folders, inserts, and flyers—to promote the programme and its benefits.
We collaborated with AMRC’s engineers to shape compelling case stories and provided full support with tone of voice, copywriting, and editing—ensuring every message was clear, engaging, and aligned with the AMRC brand.
