A no-nonsense campaign against
anti-social behaviour
Lancashire Police
The project
Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home and community. Yet anti-social behaviour (ASB) can have a devastating impact—disrupting lives, damaging neighbourhoods, and leaving victims feeling powerless. Shockingly, almost 1 in 7 people have considered moving home because of ASB, yet many incidents still go unreported.
To tackle this, Lancashire Constabulary launched #OpCenturion—a bold new initiative focused on taking visible action against anti-social behaviour. Hotfoot was appointed to develop a powerful campaign that would raise awareness, encourage reporting, and reassure communities that action is being taken.

Our approach
Our strategy process helped define the audience, key messages, and creative direction for the #OpCenturion campaign—ensuring every element worked together to achieve real impact.
The campaign was designed to reassure the public that police and partners are actively tackling anti-social behaviour, while encouraging residents to report incidents and showing them how. It aimed to increase sign-ups to platforms like In The Know and Lancashire Talking, and deter offenders by clearly highlighting the consequences of ASB.
Internally, the campaign also needed to inform officers of their role in addressing ASB, raise awareness of the Commissioner’s commitment to safer communities, and ultimately support Lancashire Constabulary’s ambition to be recognised by HMICFRS as ‘Outstanding’ in its response to anti-social behaviour.
