  • First job?

The Morecambe Sunday Market, a very quick learning experience to demonstrate that working behind a screen is where I want to be. The stall I worked at offered to buy me lunch one week and then deducted it from my pay, so my take home pay for a full day's work was about £3.50.

  • First concert?

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Millennium Stadium, Cardiff 2004. Back then they were my favourite band and I was very lucky to see them live. My bonus trivia from that concert is, one, I heard Snow (Hey Oh) before it made it to an album and, two, they were supported by the godfather of soul himself, James Brown.

  • Favourite city?

Apart from Lancaster, my favourite city I've visited is Berlin. I spent a lot of my education in History classes; so being able to see and feel it, in person, was a privilege. I’d recommend everyone to go, it's a really sobering experience and it gets more and more important to remember the mistakes of the past, which Berlin does a fantastic job of maintaining and demonstrating whilst still having an exciting and bustling modern city centre.

  • Favourite football team?

Manchester City - Ever since my dad took me to Maine Road when I was 7, I've been hooked on all things football. It was a hard time growing up as a city fan in the 90’s & 00’s but it is quite a bit better post 2008!

  • Favourite websites and apps?

I’m a product of the PlayStation, Xbox and PC gaming boom of the last 30ish years, so you’ll normally find me watching anything gaming related on YouTube or Twitch. A close third is YouTube Music.

  • Favourite games?

My first really ‘addicted to’ game was World of Warcraft, where I managed a guild of over 200 people - still leaving uni with a degree after that is probably one of my best achievements! Once I went cold turkey on that I filled the void with any strategy and resource management style games, favourites at the moment being Hearthstone Battlegrounds, TFT, Cities Skylines and in person, Magic The Gathering.

We'd love to work with you
