Self proclaimed 'Swiss Army Knife' of animation, Jack learnt his trade at the internationally acclaimed Mainframe animation studio.
After 10 years living and working in Manchester, Jack returned to the Lune Valley for a slice of the outdoor life. When he’s not tweaking keyframes, Jack can be found walking and running the fells of Barbondale.
First Job?
I had a milk round at 12 years old. We'd start at 4am on a school day, run around the town delivering bottles until 7am, then start school! We got paid in pound coins, and would have to hold our trousers up walking home on pay day.
Favourite TV show?
Quantum Leap. Brilliant concept, endlessly creative. A sort of proto- Inside No 9. Such great childhood nostalgia.
Favourite game?
A Swedish lawn game called Kubb. You basically have to knock down your oponents' wooden blocks by throwing a baton at them from about 20 ft. Devilishly simple and tricky in equal measure and perfect for the garden/beach/campsite.
Favourite Podcast?
At the moment it's Three Bean Salad - genuinely the funniest and silliest thing I've ever heard.
Favourite record?
Revolver. The Beatles at their most creative. It has to be, doesn't it? Of course it does.
