First job?
I worked on a market fruit and veg stall and I loved it! I even had to add up and work out change in my head. My first marketing job was a placement year whilst at university and I’ve worked in marketing ever since.
What did you want to be when growing up?
Either a florist or interior designer. I still love interior design now and spend far too much time scrolling through house accounts on Instagram.
Tell us something we don't know about you…
Both my children were born on their due dates. Google tells me only 4% of babies come on their due date, so it must be very rare that both do!
Favourite podcast?
I find The Marketing Meetup really helpful, the speakers are inspiring and the topics are practical so you can apply it to your own work. It's always my go to if I need inspiration or I’m feeling a little stuck! I also like Everyone Hates Marketers, Louis Grenier is the host and he’s one of those people who just makes complete sense every time he talks about a marketing topic.
Most treasured possession?
This has to be my photos, I’m always the one behind the camera, bugging everyone to get ‘just one more’ picture. As my kids get older this is getting more and more embarrassing for them!
Favourite TV shows?
This probably isn’t the coolest thing to admit but I’m loving the Great British Bake Off at the moment.
First album?
My first album was Madonna’s Like A Virgin. I remember getting it on cassette (!) for Christmas and playing it on my new Walkman.
Where’s your happy place?
I feel most relaxed when I’m out walking in the countryside and I’m very lucky to be surrounded by it living in the beautiful Ribble Valley.
