I enjoyed this from Vox and Roman Mars of 99% Invisible. Especially as I’d just pulled a door with a big handle on it that I was supposed to push. It’s true, bad door design is everywhere:
Some doors require printed instructions to operate, while others are so poorly designed that they lead people to do the opposite of what they need to in order to open them. Their shapes or details may suggest that pushing should work, when in fact pulling is required (or the other way around).
